600gm of red meat or chicken, 50gm of Tanjong Kurma Powder made into paste form, 2 onions; 1 sliced and 1 pounded, 3 cloves of garlic; sliced 2 cm ginger, 100ml of coconut milk or evaporated milk, 300ml water and 3tbsp cooking oil.
Heating cooking oil in pot. Saute sliced onions, garlic and ginger until fragrant. Add in Tangjong Kurma paste in slow heat for 10 minutes. Then add in meat or chicken, potatoes, quarterly cut onion and water and cook on medium heat till the meat becomes tender. Reduce to slow heat and pour in coconut milk and add salt to taste. Cook for another 10 minutes before serving.
