500gm mutton, 3 tbsp edible oil, 3 medium sized onions finely sliced, 1 inch of ginger (pounded), 2 cloves garlic (pounded), 2 tomatoes finely chopped, 50gm Tanjong Meat & Chicken Masala Powder, 10gm Tanjong Kurma Powder, 1/2 tsp (7.5gm) Tanjong Turmeric Powder, 1 tbsp (15gm) red chili powder, 240ml coconut milk or yogurt, salt to taste and chopped coriander leaves.
Heat pot and add oil. Add sliced onions, pounded ginger and fry them till they turn golden. Add the mutton pieces and cook them until a change in color appears. Add salt, red chili powder, Turmeric Powder, Masala Powder and Kurma Powder. Mix well and cook for about 2-3 minutes on low flame. Add the chopped tomatoes, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add coconut milk/yogurt. Cook until oil appears. Add water and chopped coriander leaves, cook until mutton gets tender. Serve hot with rice or bread.
